Our Mr.Potato Head

On Tuesday when Logan went for his 2 yr appointment he tested high for lead. They pocked his finger twice in the office and his #'s were 25 and 26.6. They should be below 10. So they sent him to the hospital to draw blood from his vein, it took 3 pokes and 48 hours for those test to come back and he was a 28. That is a high level, but not a level where they treat it. They are going to test his iron tomorrow because it also showed low and they will retest his lead in 4 weeks. Now we are in the process of getting someone to come out and test the house and its contents. High levels of blood poisoning affect your brain so we are going to fix the problem before it gets that high. It has been a scary few days because we know so little about lead poisoning and what we do know is not good. But we have been assured that he is okay and will continue to stay that way. But every time he stutters or says ouch we jump. Poor kid! Rosa and Ace both tested fine, so it is a little odd, but because his iron started out low they said this could have made him more susceptible. Please keep him in your prayers. Actually keep us all in your prayers, it is very scary when you start talking about your baby's brain.
I did it again! Tilt right We were all a little tense and the kids were picking up on that so yesterday we destroyed an old phone book...it was great therapy
