Sorry it has been so long! Well what can I say I have 4 kids which for the most part equals no time! No not really, we just have had a busy couple of months. We went to Oklahoma for 2 weeks while Colby was at camp and had a really good time. We got to see family that I have not gotten to see in a while and just hang out with them rather than be on a few hour time slot. This is something I REALLY miss living away. Just being a part of the every day time. The kids had a really good time. We went to my Dads and they got to ride Grandpas golf cart and 4 wheeler. We only had a small mishap when a goose bit Logan on the pants at the animal center. It was actually pretty funny, especially because my kids are terrified of all animals that could actually touch them (we are considering getting them fish for Christmas) the funniest part was that the goose was missing most of his top beak. The sad part is that we use to enjoy going to the park to feed the ducks and geese and now Logan screams his head off the entire time. Later in the week my Dad and JuJu (Julie) came and we took the kids fishing. They loved it, Rosa caught one fish and Logan was proud to have got nothing. My mom, phillip and angela got to spend some time with the kids. Logan got to have his first sleep over with Aunt and Uncle. We were lucky enough to get to keep Ellison for a couple of days while Angela was at work and she is a doll. So beautiful and sweet. Since returning we have had boughts of sickness and then we had a lockin for the teens at church. Last year after the lock in Colby so kindly suggested that maybe next year I might not want to stay up all night. So this year I got an hour or so nap and tried all day to control my grouches. Rosa is doing great, she is very sad with Colby and I for not allowing her to go to school this year. She wants to go so bad. She is learning to write her ABC's and #'s and this week learned our phone number. She loves to learn. She is also taking a very motherly role towards Peyson, she tries with Bryant but when he bites her she throws that sisterly love out the window. Logan is also doing well and his latest lead test came back at an 8. The goal was to get it below a 10 so he will no longer even have to have it checked except at his yearly appt. and that is just a finger poke, not more vein draws. Colby and I almost did not believe it when the called, because his last#'s only dropped 1 point and this dropped 8! It has been a long few months but we have learned a ton, not only about lead but alot about our family and about our brothers and sisters in Christ here. We are so thankful for the work they have done for our family. Logan is in the process of potty training. This is a much harder process than with Rosa. It seems to be taking forever! Bryant is growing a ton, I think he has grown inches in the past week. He is trying so hard to be likes his brother and sister. He wants to be just as talkative and informative as they are so he almost out talks them. We will be in the car and he will say "MaMa! MaMa! MaMa" and when I respond he just lets out a stream of words for several minutes. The only reason we know he is repeating Logan and Rosa is because he always stresses the last word of what they said. He is a doll, despite his love of biting and throwing things! Peyson is starting to crawl and while he has gone forward in this area we are going backwards in the eating department. He refuses to eat anything but a bottle, no baby food, no table food, no solid food. Nothing. I am not worried because he is still growing strong, but he is going to have to change that to survive in this family! He is such a good baby, he really only fusses if he is hungry or tired. He is actually so good that I took him to the Dr. this week because he was sick and she said he had a double ear infection that was pretty bad. But she said it in that great voice like"hey why did you not bring him in last week you terrible parent." But he does not run a fever and was only a little fussy so who knew. He is also a very pretty baby, not that my other kids were not, but he looks so different from the others that I think maybe I notice it more. What a lovey.
