Fun Fourth

Well June came and went and we are still making it. What a month it was though. About one week after Pam left I got sick and went to the Dr to discover that I had Pneumonia and mono. I felt terrible, so because she loves us Pam came back. I had tried to convince myself that we would be fine, but I dont know what we would have done without her. She stayed a week and then my Mom came and stayed a week while Colby was at camp. I am doing better now, turned out there was no mono, but some bacteria that was altering the test. The Dr. actually called today and said that my new blood work showed that I had had mono in the past but not now. After the Pneumonia cleared I got a bacterial infection that led to a cat scan and lots of meds. all to tells us what we already knew. I was gonna be fine. So I officially finish my meds tomorrow and am feeling a lot better. But we are so thankful for our moms, what a help they both were. But now the kids think that someone else should be here at all times (they may be right)! Colby came home and we spent a great 4th of July at a small town near. It was fun and the the closest we have been to fireworks since we moved here. However, our kids all hated them. Bryant said "not cool, i want to go home!" Rosa eventually started crying (it was 2 hours after their bedtime), Peyson turned to cuddle my mom after the first firework and then slept through the rest and Reah was asleep when we got there and still asleep when we left 2 1/2 hours later, what a good girl!

Rosa has taken a huge interest in feeding Reah. She is really very good at it. I cannot believe she will be 5 in one week. Where has the time gone?

Racing at the baseball field before the fireworks began

He is really smiling because in his hand is his first bite of funnel cake

We watched the parade in the am and it started raining on us, some stranger took pity on Peyson and shared his blanket.
