Life a little sweeter

Well after 1 year the adoption is complete! We went to court Friday and within 30 minutes we were finished and he was ours. Colby and I both had to testify and it was so funny because I had a huge list of stuff in my head that I wanted to say and then I just froze I could not say anything because I was crying and I just could not believe that the moment was finally here. I had wanted to say how grateful we were and how we prayed for his birth mom and how I would continue to pray for her because despite the fact that we have never even met her, she is a part of us. We have the best part of her. I pray for her because one day the severity of the situation will set in and what a hard day that will be for her. That is a lot for one person to handle. All night thursday and Friday morning I had that sick with anticipation feeling. And then it was so easy and quick-YEAH!!! My mom and our friends Sherry and Katherine came for several days and Lyneil and the boys came to court it was a wonderful occasion. Afterwards we went to McD's to eat and play and then to the zoo that night. On saturday we had a cookout celebration for Bryant Matthew. And now he is our son, just as Logan and Peyson are our sons. He is now and forever a Clapp. We love you little boy and hope you always know how much we wanted you and how blessed we are to have you. Our life is now even sweeter than before. Our sweet love! We chose Bryant Matthew because Colby had an Uncle named Bryant that he was very fond of and I have a cousin and good friends named Matthew. So it is a very special name for both of us.
